MSINGI IMARA ACADEMY EMBARKS ON A WEEKLY ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP

The Majengo community is a lucky one within Kamukunji. We are a blessed area that has got it all: Surplus water, good roads, cheap housing, schools, next to the CBD,community centers, football teams, celebrities, shopping mall, biggest mosque, biggest open air market in Africa. We are simply unbeatable and stand tall among all communities found within the country.

Thanks to the environmental concern of a few, a weekly clean-up for Katanga base and Angola has been made possible. Msingi Imara Academy from Katanga Base has decided to take care of these two areas of our humble community. It is a big step that they have taken and they hope that the whole community of Majengo will be able to follow their footsteps.

Environment is of great importance and this task has been carried out by a few. The academy, which comprises of U-15 kids, are brave enough to volunteer their free services to this community. There have been a lot of clean-ups taking place in different parts of Majengo which include Bash, Digo,Angola and all the unnamed areas. This deserves a big appraisal for the volunteers.

No one is as strong and brave as a Volunteer. This young Kids have decided to take on this task that will be running every weekend of each month. What about You? As an adult how will you help out?

The academy is pleading to well wishers to contribute to this worthy cause in all means necessary. Your help will be highly appreciated by the whole community of Majengo.

Anyone interested in contributing towards this project can contact the team Head Coach on 0702860452 or 0716113914
